Nourish

I read the label: Nourish the skin.

I snort.

No matter what I do my skin is dry.

A life time of sun had done its damage.
I sigh and put the lotion with SPF in the cart.

My alarm goes off.

‘Chemo Appt.’

I must go.

For I must be treated for the damaged the sun had given me.

Petrify

Moving from one victim to the next.

His victim asked a question.

“What does it feel like to kill without remorse?”

He gave that smirk and licked his fingers and looked him in the eye.
