Villains run the world.

They went corporate and used their powers to control the world.

Superheroes went into the shadows. Many died.

Hundreds of years later, Etain AKA Doctor Arc, is informed of a plan from her ‘partners’ so wrong she cannot let the corruption, even as much evil as she is, continue.

She speaks against the proposal.

Etain is beaten and left for dead when she will not cross the line to wipe out humanity.

She goes to the only hero that she knows she can trust.

The only hero that may take up their mantel once more.

Etain is a Villain who needs a hero.

The hero once known as Earth Phoenix now just goes by her name, as her father gave her hundreds of years ago, Catriona.

When the villains won, she moved to a small city, opened a bakery, lives her extended life in peace.

Until one day, she finds the villain that always played upon her thoughts, on her doorstep.

The Queen Villain is asking Catriona to save the world.

Will She answer the call once again?

Or will she make Etain face her consequences alone?

Trigger Warnings:

Sexual Assault

Dubious Consent

Violence

Murder

Superhero/Super Villain level violence

Like a few rungs down the ladder from The Boys

Author takes creative liberties with historical figures

As Captain America would say “LANGUAGE”

This is a dark story at times

Trigger warnings! There is few: Violence, blood, murder, witch trials, war, gay sex, sex, orgies, I think I mention a villain eats eyeballs with a candy cane (it tends to be a theme in some of my bloodier works) language (I have a mouth and so do my characters), sexual assault, dubious consent, there are heroes and villains, it is not The Boys level, but there is murder and violence more detailed than in the edited older version, this is really what the novel was going to be like, before a friend edited. Take The Boys and turn it down a few notches.  The first chapter is tame, just to set a tone. But once we get into the chapters it will be R rated.
