The Rules of being A Guardian

Found in the journal of Catherine Von Kampen

Your soulmate’s soul belongs to you, your soul belongs to your soul mate.

Before your joining you may bargain with your soul or your soulmate’s soul. A price must be paid for immortality.

After your joining you must get your soulmate’ permission to bargain with your soul. Not exceptions.

To create another Guardian, to give immortality, a bargain must be made; a price paid.

Before the Joining your soulmate cannot bargain with their soul, with their life yes, but not their soul.

After the Joining, both beings must agree to any deals made with other immortal beings.

As a Guardian, you must protect Earth using any means necessary.

You do not retire. Only a true Death can release you.

You may use the bargaining chip of reincarnation.

You can be reincarnated, and the demons have until a certain age to kill you. The age is set by when you made your first kill of the supernatural world, or when you first became a hunter. Then the Guardian would be immortal again.

If killed, either by a true death or before you come of age and are immortal, you will be judged, and sent to your final place in eternity, most go to hell.

You will gain powers, lots of them, and certain ones take longer to show than others.  It will be your gift in this curse.

True Death comes with the draining of all blood and the power of the soul being drained away, and the heart ripped out as the last drop of blood falls.
