This is a work of fiction. Any similarity to persons living or dead (unless explicitly noted) is merely coincidental.

Katrina made a choice to stay in Oakhaven when her mother needed care. She had been twenty-four, the doctors saying her mother would not live another five years. That was thirteen years ago now. Though she had the degrees for a much better job, she worked IT for the local evil corporation. Okay, so it dealt with mortgages, loans, and things of that nature. But still, it was soul sucking work. She figured she would be stuck in this small town hell forever. Then one day a weird announcement came on the television. A traveling Egyptian exhibit with real life pieces of the tombs was coming to their town. Katrina hired a nurse to watch her mother that night and went to the exhibit, never knowing her life was about to change forever. And she would stand at the fork in the road and figure out which side was truly good and which side was truly evil, and the thin line between them… For she was going to have to make a choice at the end of her night…
